DR 4332 TX – Hurricane Harvey

CBDRG is an established network of businesses, non-profit, faith-based, private sector and government organizations partnering to support long-term disaster recovery in the 11 counties of the Coastal Bend.  To date CBDRG has activated for 3 disasters ( DR4332TX – Hurricane Harvey, DR4586TX – Texas Severe Winter Storm of 2021, & DR4223TX – Texas Severe Storms, Tornadoes, and Flooding of 2015) in the Coastal Bend.

Our largest and longest response is the five-year long-term recovery from the federally declared disaster DR4332TX from the August 2017 landfall of Category 4 Hurricane Harvey in the six affected counties in the Coastal Bend of Texas (Aransas, Bee, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio).

CBDRG Unmet Needs Roundtable

The CBDRG Unmet Needs Roundtable is a meeting during which funders and volunteer agencies convene to hear Case Managers present their clients disaster related needs.  After the cases are presented the funders and volunteer agencies coordinate and cooperate to assist families in their recovery.  It is essential for these types of forums because the scope of work is too large for one single organization.
