211 Texas

211 Texas is a free, anonymous social service hotline available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year This program, from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, connects Texas citizens with the services they need. There are 25 Area Information Centers (AICs) across the state.

Texas General Land Office – Hurricane Harvey

The Texas General Land Office has created four different programs to respond to the destruction of Hurricane Harvey. Individuals can apply for the Homeowner Assistance Program or the Homeowner Reimbursement Program. Local governments can apply for the Local Infrastructure Program or the Local Buyout and Acquisition Program.
